We ship approximately two or three days each week as orders come in. We have most popular items in stock, most of the time. Often when an item is new or a sample design, we may only stock one or two at a time until we can see which new products attract the strongest interest.

Once your order is received, if the item is in stock, we will mail it within 3 business days or sooner. For those items that we need to make to order, please allow 1 – 3 weeks for us to make and ship the order. Special order items for which we need to order materials may take longer. We will email you with an approximate ship date.

We have selected USPS Priority because it is the least expensive and fastest shipper for small weight items. However, they do not offer tracking of packages that are not insured, only delivery confirmation. Generally USPS Priority takes 1 - 3 business days to arrive at most US locations, but on rare occasions, they get delayed and take up to 10 days. Please allow enough time or request Express Mail if your order is time sensitive as we can't be responsible for delays on the part of the postal service. 

Once or twice a year, we may be on vacation or visiting family for holidays. We usually post a note on the website with estimated ship dates during those times, or we will email you when the order comes in with an approximate ship date.

Shipments within the Continental US

Orders for U.S. customers are usually shipped via U.S.P.S. First Class (under 1 lb) and U.S.P.S. Priority (1 lb+) or UPS. Our U.S.P.S. Priority orders are shipped with Delivery Confirmation, which does not track the order, but provides confirmation of delivery only. The only way to track orders is to ship via insured mail or UPS, which is more expensive. Let us know if you require a special shipment method. This may incur additional charges.

International Orders

Canadian and International orders are shipped via US Global Priority as this the best value and easiest to do. This service is supposed to take approximately to 4 – 7 business days or more to arrive but we have found that international orders can take up to 2 weeks. Most Canadian customers receive their order within a week and UK customers in about 10 days - 2 weeks.

We have also found that the issued tracking numbers for international packages are not always accurate until the package has been delivered. It seems that the U.S.P.S. reuses tracking numbers for some reason. So if you are in the U.K., and you are trying to track your package, don’t be alarmed if the website says it was delivered to Florida 3 months prior. If after 30 days you have not received your international order, we will send a replacement or something similar of your choice, based on availability.

International orders may incur tariffs, duties and/or taxes based on your country's regulations.  We're hearing that UK customers have to pay about 17 Euros to receive their packages. 

We calculate rates based on weight and distance and add a minimal amount for packing materials and handling. We do not aim to make money on shipping and try to keep costs as low as possible.

If you return an item to us for exchange, you will be billed for shipping for the replacement item.

Special Order, Out of Stock, Temporarily Out of Stock, Back Order, Temporarily Unavailable

If an item is listed as Special Order or Temporarily Out of Stock, it may take up to 1 – 3 weeks to make and process your order, depending on whether or not we already have the fabric.

Please contact us for an estimated processing date for your desired item if it is not listed as available for immediate shipment. We will be happy to help you.

Shipping Rates

We charge USPS rates plus a nominal handling fee of $1.00 to minimally cover shipping materials. Rates are calculated by weight and zip code according to current USPS rates. You will see the shipping cost for your order in your shopping cart before you have to submit the order. You can also estimate rates at www.usps.com using the estimated weight of the item and your zip code. Items over 13 oounces are shipped via USPS Priority. Most slings and large blankets weigh between 1 - 2 lbs.

Packages that weigh less than a pound are shipped via USPS First Class, saving you a few dollars.

All items ship from Los Angeles, CA. 

Rush  / Express Service

Rates will vary depending on the destination and exactly how fast you need it. Please contact us so that we can arrange the most accurate and best price for your particular needs and location. Rates for one sling, or a 2 lb package, costs around $26 - $30 for 1 to 2-day service. Depending on how busy we are, rush service may not available on a particular day.

Please call us before 12 pm Pacific Standard Time (3 hours behind the East Coast) to ensure that your order can be processed. We prefer to use USPS Express Mail service, which is the best value and the easiest to process. We bring the package in to a local post office. However, for some locations, next day service is not guaranteed by the postal service. They do, however, deliver on Saturday (UPS and FedEx do not).

Insurance may be included for items worth up to $100, but a signature will be required. You may waive the signature requirement, but we are not responsible for a package that is stolen from your location since delivery cannot then be confirmed.

If you have your own UPS, Fed Ex, or DHL account and you may be able to arrange a pick-up from our location.

Rush Service is only available for items that are in stock and ready to ship.

Local Pickup

If you wish to pick up the item in person, we will not charge you any shipping costs and we’ll give you a sling tutorial as well. You will be liable for the 8.25% California sales tax. Please contact us for an appointment. If you miss your appointment, we will ship you the item and charge the normal amount for shipping and handling.
